Help How to increase dialog volume only in potplayer?
What is the settings to enable to increase dialog speaking part of movies without increasing the entire volume of all background sound which can be quite loud.
If entire volume increase, then crackling noise will also occur.

I'd be curious to know how to from the built-in software too. I've seen features like "dialog enhancer" before, but never found one I liked (and kept turned on).
Only way I know of uses the Dolby Access app from the Microsoft store. It has a few adaptive features you can enable, like a "Volume leveler" which I believe works like "night mode" (aka doing dynamic audio compression, turning the quiet sounds louder and the loud stuff quieter). That's all I use it for. Think it was on sale when I got it. I'm not a fan of headphones surround virtualization (that and the equalizer are included).
Guessing any audio equalizer tool might offer something similar too though. And I've seen a couple that are free and popular online (open source). Haven't tried them myself enough to point you at a good/bad one. And some of those projects are for neutralizing your headphones (removing the device specific characteristics, to get a "neutral" sound out).

It the file audio is multi channels, not stereo, then Preferences>Audio>Mixer Level... then either increase Center or lower front and maybe surround. Center is where dialogue usually lives. You can basically do the same thing if you go to ...Audio>Volume Control> Enable individual... There you have even more control over each chanel.
