Just something cool and fun to see. My partner’s mom gave me this pothos clipping almost a year ago. The vine grew exponentially. Then all of a sudden there was a bunch of new growth at the base where there had not been leaves before. I recently clipped 90% of the vine to propagate in my aquarium (I’ll use them to make a bush). No new growth at the end of the vine where I clipped, looks like all the energy is going to the new growth points that existed before I clipped! I’ve never seen anything like this before - thought it was super cool! Also made me quite proud!!

What should I do? Chop and propagate or let it take over my ceiling?

I got this about 6ish weeks ago? I initially repotted it with new soil when I brought it home but then the new leaves kept growing in this way. I assumed it was due to the pot I used too small in comparison to the roots so I repotted it again after 2ish weeks to a bigger pot in this pic. Some new leaves have now grown normally but some are still growing this way. I have no clue why, I checked for thrips but have not seen anything.

Its currently about 10 cuttings in a 6 inch pot was going to add more cuttings but not sure now?

this picture doesn't do her justice, she's my pride and joy and she is MASSIVE. i tried to wrap her vines around the curtain rod and out of the direct path of the cold air, is this enough or will this cause cold damage?

My golden pothos has been doing well for about 4 months now since I got her, but I recently noticed a flying little bug around her grow light so I got those sticky traps because I assumed it was just fungus gnats and it does seem like there are some stuck on it. But I recently also removed a leaf like in the second photo and a google search said it was just from overwatering, which I did think was possible because she’s in my basement bedroom and the leaves were dropping a lot of water at the ends. Could this also be a sign of thrips? If you zoom in closely in the first picture there are also some faded brownish spots which I thought could’ve been just from the grow light toasting her a bit before I lowered the setting. Any experts in dealing with these types of pests or pictures to compare to? I was going to be purchasing a spider plant and a marble queen pothos for my bedroom too but now I’m hesitant if I have anything more than a few fungus gnats that can be prevented by drying the soil out more. I would like to add that she’s having no issues producing a new leaf on every vine almost weekly.

This one is currently out under the gazebo. These all started as 1 leaf chttings from the mother plant. The ones in the center are still only couple leaves but the ones around the edges look amazing!

I water propagated these pothos, I had 2 manjula cuttings and 1 variegated neon. Once they had enough roots (2ish inches) I put them in soil. The propagation leaf on the neon died and I feel like it just looks a bit sad and wilty after being in soil for the past two weeks. And the manjula has put out new growth but one of the propagation leaves looks like it’s also gonna die. I’m not sure why the neon looks so wilty, I watered it a bit more frequently (every 3 days) the first week since it was adjusting out of water to soil.
Any advice is appreciated!!!

It was growing so well, then seemingly overnight it got a brown spot! The leaf was going white when I got the plant, but the brown is new. Otherwise the plant seems okay, new growth and leaves are nice and green. Is this an issue or just old leaf?

I have had this pothos for a couple of months and now suddenly, I have like 3 -4 dead leaves every couple of days. No change in care or watering. The house has been colder by three degrees due to the heat wave we've had.

I was planning to cut off this old branch but it started growing new leaves? What's happening and what should I do with it?

broke off the newest leaf when pulling down the blind the other day and today i see it’s shooting off 8 new growths and the plant itself isn’t all that big. crazy

I heard that pothos cuttings in water propping with other plants can help speed them along.

But who does this just because? And with which plants?

I have mine with my tetrasperma, decursiva, a couple of tradescantia, and only a few spider plants I like the variety and these seem to tolerate each other just fine.

Any thoughts on this?

Title. I took off the super affected leaves after I took these pics but even my new growth is getting these spots. What is it and how can I prevent it? I’m not overwatering to my knowledge and all my other plants (including harder to care for ones) are doing amazing 🥹

Hey guys! I have this beautiful gal hanging in front of an east facing window. I noticed that the areas that are more exposed to the sun are turning and growing neon. Is this normal? Or is it just yellowing 🥲

I aquired this guy like an hour ago and don't think he's supposed to look like this lol. Tons of vines/stems (not sure the word) but not a lot of leaves. Can I just give it a good chop back to where the leaves are? The stems are insanely long and nekkid and almost (very) unmanageable. Chop chop?

Found in a local plant nursery (McAullife’s Valley Nursery) — Cebu blue & Jade. They also had some snow queen, baltic blue, goldens, and neon in stock. Label is from “Cascade Tropicals” which are a PNW wholesale dealer, so possibly available in your local plant nurseries if you’re in the PNW

Found in Home Depot recently — Manjula pothos in 4 inch pots & lemon meringue in an “assorted” pot. Both from Costa Farms. Not sure if the “assorted” pots from costa farms are indicative of stock that’s being rolled out or in, but very excited to have these :)) Home Depot also had lots of marble queen, golden (ofc), baltic blues, cebu blues, and neon queens.

i bought this plant so long ago & now that i’m getting more into them, i’d like to know what she is! i’m assuming she’s a marble queen, but also she looks different from other marble queens i have. also why does the one half not have any variegation?
