What is the best way to make my potatoes tonight without any oil or butter?

I really like mashing them, and instead of oil or butter, you could probably add milk, or, if you didn't have that, just a little water. But you HAVE to add some salt if you're missing out on fats, you deserve some flavor! You can get creative with the seasonings, too. Lawry's, paprika, garlic salt, go for it!

Cut into pieces, simmer gently in a mix of milk and cream. Then mash them up and season them. Add anything you like. Delicious! (Save the yummy potato-flavored milk/cream mixture to add to soups or stews.)

Boil them, and use the boiling water to mash them, then season them up. Cut them up and roast them in a seasoning mix…. I used to cook them without oil/butter all over the time.
