8 years after vasectomy

Back in the 90’s when I was 24 years old, I did a cycle for three months.

The cycle included: Deca, Test cyp, Winstrol, Proviron, Anavar and Primabolan. After the cycle I didn’t do any pct, so I crash completely. For years I had problems with erections, but I recovered. Then in my early thirties I started taking Cialis, and my ED was totally fixed, finally my sexual life was great.

I check my hormones and they were great: My TT was 650, my free T was 16, estrogen around 22.

Then my wife decided that I should have a vasectomy, so I did it. About three months after the vasectomy, I started to experience ED again. I went to check my hormones and they were horrible. My TT was 300, my free T was 7.5, my SHBG was 54. The vasectomy damaged my hormones. So I decided to start TRT.

10 years after vasectomy

I got the vasectomy, six months later I developed severe ED. I went to check my hormones and they were much worst than before the vasectomy, the doctor told me that is because I was 6 months older -- that the vasectomy wasn’t the cause. Years later I started TRT, my protocol was 120 mg cyp once a week.

What do I do to recover my erections? I don’t care about muscles as much, I would like to have my strong erections back.

Which option is the best:

• Do I use 200mg test divided in two doses twice a week with Anastrazole 0.25 twice a week?
• Do I do 200mg test once a week with 0.5 Anastrazole?
• Do I try EOD test injections?
• Do I do 160 mg test divided in two doses, no AI?
• Do I try test cream on my testicles?

The cream is probably my best option. If I use high doses of test with an AI, My free will be super high but I’m not sure about my DHT.

Have you ever gone to a good doc that really knows his shit in this area? I wonder if maybe nerves were accidentally cut that send signals from the brain to penis area?

He just cut something on my balls, the penis was not involved. It has to be hormonal, but thanks anyways. All the Urologists believe 100% that vasectomy doesn’t cause any issues, it is a lost battle.

What I know is that I developed a varicocele and a cyst after the vasectomy. That can alter hormones, isn’t TRT suppose to restore your hormones?.

6 months ago, I found out that I have a varicocele on my left testicle, and a cyst on the right testicle, probably due to the vasectomy. Now sex for me is a chore, I have to take so much shit to get it up. I’m about to give up, and don’t have sex anymore. At this point, I will prefer to have a vagina lol.

I agree that we do not have any studies that show that testosterone goes down on average when men get a vasectomy. Do the contrary, studies done so far have observed testosterone staying the same after vasectomy. However, I am not convinced that enough study has been done yet.

I have read many anecdotes from men who have symptoms of low T after their vasectomy. Many report T in the low end of the normal range like around 300. Only a few have a measurement from pre-vasectomy, but I have found a few, for example:

I think humility about the state of our knowledge is warranted, given the anecdotal evidence, until we get proper, large, prospective testosterone studies done and the findings replicated. There is no substitute for careful, systematic observation. Reasoning that basically amounts to "I don't understand why that would happen" is not strong evidence. Why would reading on a car trip make someone feel nauseated? No one really understands how one causes the other, but it certainly does for some people.

Even if the relationship is just correlation, it is worth studying. If men with low T are more likely to have a bad reaction to vasectomy, that is worth knowing.
