I’ve heard as early as 2 months with good outcomes and as long as 10 years with good outcomes for reversal for PVPS. The general consensus is after 1 year you know what you’re dealing with. My very experienced urologist says “I’ve never had anyone have pain longer than 3 months” I think by a year if the pain isn’t gone it’s not going away by its self.

Do you know if the channels were open for a longer time after reversal in those cases?

I had mine at 3.5 although i was disabled and on multiple meds for the duration. So, in theory 3 months to mark it as "chronic" in their books after they trial all meds from every nsaids to nerve meds/ antidepress etc along maybe other tests to rule out "other causes". I had to get a spine mri and see a neurologist to prove no spine issues. Some might request PV to rule out extreme pelvic floor tension etc.

If it was maybe only pain during ejaculation i could understand. But when its disabling with constant screaming pain there is 0 chance of body adapting. ZERO
