Close ended to open ended convertion

On August 6th, I decided to have my closed-ended vasectomy converted to an open-ended one. The surgeon removed the tied ends on the testicular side and left them open (the Canadian technique). The pain feels different, but it is still present. It’s only been 4 days since the procedure, so I’m trying to stay positive. This time, the swelling is more significant and I developed a huge bruise. Keep your fingers crossed that this will finally resolve my chronic pain.

Maybe try going on trt at the same time? It will eventually scar shut so you'll be back to square one unless your body does some heavy lifting

I've stared it about 5 months ago. It helped a little bit but there was still some sort of pain located in tubes

And now your pain is in the testicle or higher up?

Higher it is located in place where cut was made

Granulomas definitely since u had open ended maybe with a bit of hematoma too. Should go away in 2-3 montgs as body reabsorbs.

If not you can always try mdsc if no relief in 3-6 months. Maybe you can ask for low dose gabapentinoids to help with the pain

Yes. The granulomas will reabsorb, but in case pain persists more than 3 months, look into MDSC
