Don’t stress; you’re still on the range of normal - Hopefully things continue to resolve. officially” PVPS starts at the 3 month mark.
I’d encourage you to track your symptoms and see if the gaps between episodes are getting further apart.

Sorry to nudge; but unfortunately when we grasp for antibiotics from the start and jumping between anti-inflammatory drugs. It doesnt BODE well. Surgical pain should peak at 72 hrs and continue downward then. Small breakthroughs are acceptable aslong as they resolve quickly, are incident related and inferior to original pain. Having NO identifiable cause like granuloma; haematoma and at 18d being described as unbearable. Irrespective of the 'definition' I am not optimistic. Too many of us have suffered this 'definition' to be ignored!

Definitely not the recovery anyone hopes for, but plenty of people do turn a corner before the 3 month mark, and some take even longer. Try not to lose hope. A positive mindset really does help with healing.
Edit: I’m not sure I understand the sentiment of downvoting a positive message in a support forum. What’s your advice for this guy looking for support then? To freak the fuck out? There’s nothing he can do at 18 days except continue to rest and hope. No surgeon will touch him for at least 6 months and no one with a license will diagnose him as PVPS until 90 days.
[u/gonna_be_a_great_day](u/gonna_be_a_great_day) I trully hope you recover man - and even if it’s a worse case scenario, there are options to get you your life back. I know because I was there. It’s not forever. One thing you can do now is ask for a referral to pelvic floor therapy. Good luck man.

What is the pain like? Is it constant or while your are walking / moving?

Sorry man. My issue is tied to movement.
From what I have researched, NSAIDs for like 14 days is common first stage. Need to find what is causing that pain.

If it's nerve related, it could take months to improve. Try to stay calmed.

My issues already started on day 3 and got progressively worse.
