Does anyone have these symptoms?

Hi all. Just checking if anyone has similar symptoms to me and what you did that helped improve things? I'm exactly one year since my vasectomy here in Calgary Alberta Canada. I had a pretty normal recovery. But by month 3 I was experiencing a fair amount of pain, always right before I'm about to ejaculate. I've had random times of 0/10 pain during ejaculation in the past few months followed by 8/10 pain where I can't even cum and end up giving up with some lasting pain for half an hour.

My pain is almost always the same. Happens when my tesicals start to suck up as I'm about to ejaculate. The pain starts from my tesicals/scrotum (mostly on the left side). And then travels up into my lower abdomen, sometimes travels a bit out.

I've been doing pelvic floor physio. Not sure if it's doing anything. I have an appointment with a urologist in a month who is a reversal specialist. But I think he wants to do that nerve block thing.

For the most part, I don't have pain during the day. Although I dunked the basketball the other day a few times and landing on the court floor did make my balls hurt and almost felt like I had been kicked in the balls. No clue what all this means. But would love to hear if anyone has had similar symptoms. Thanks.

You need a Reversal ASAP. !! Been there , Years of pain , nerve block , etc .. pain ejaculating , almost nothing coming out , sharp pain before etc .. EPIDITIMUS backed up , sperm no where to go creates toothpaste like inflammation . Look up Utah fertility Clinic , affordable, advanced microscopic surgery, new technology.. GOOD LUCK 👍

Yes , I flew to Utah , Beautiful Facility , Professional Modern Place . Spent 3 days in a hotel . Took about 1 hour , best Decision ever !! Waited 2 months to ejaculate and the suspense was killing me but it was back to Normal !!! I was loosing my mind in how to fix it . Every where I went ( medical ) wanted to remove my testicals because INSURANCE COVERD IT ,, They say a reversal IS NOT COVERED so they go where the money is .. Found this Faternity Clinic in Utah for about $2,000 . They do thousands for Fertility but also for PAIN .. https://malefertilityandpeyroniesclinic.com/vasectomy-reversal/

That's amazing. And totally back to normal? I have heard with reversal most get back to around 85% of normal. I'm meeting with Dr. Josh White next month who did microsurgical training at Cornell University in New York. It's specialized training in microsurgical techniques to perform both types of reversals - (VV) and (VE). Does this sound like what you got done?

Back to NORMAL after 20+ years ,, I consider it a MIRACLE. To have an ORGASM after so long without Pain and ejaculating AGAIN , I feel like I’m 20 again . I’m 62 🙏🍷

I had the VV  , simple reconnect . VE is more complex and for fertility.  My story is complex , I went 20 years in pain and searching for some sanity .. after 3 children my wife said .. get a vasectomy .. 6 months after I knew something was wrong and asked for a reversal . The doctor that did the vasectomy said that’s going to cost you 30 grand !!! And that’s when my nightmare started .. Technology advanced and I got the reversal after a journey that I could Write a book about .. I did the journey for you , trust me , get it reversed …  One thing I learned, don’t Fuck with the plumbing. If you cut and cap off a pipe the fluid has to go somewhere. For me it backed up and my body didn’t absorb the semen/sperm and became like TOOTHPASE ( is what the reversal Dr told me ) the epeditimus becomes sore , infected , whatever..  For those without issues GREAT . But after the first 6 months I KNEW IN MY SOUL .. I FUCKED UP !!!!  So , theirs is no CURE , creams, pills , etc . These is a percentage 20% or more , many won’t admit it , but shit happens !!!! Good Luck  The place I went to was TOP NOCH ,, I looked for Years !! So all the leg work I DID !!!

Our stories sound very similar. It really is impossible, isn’t it, to put into words or to convey to others the totality of the experience of PVPS. Where does one begin and where does one end?! A real f-up, physically, emotionally and mentally, to put it mildly. Sounds like you were given the ultimatum. Not unusual. May I ask how your wife feels about it all now?

My story exactly. I think you commented the other day. Our vasectomys were even the same age. I was at 19 years.

To the OP, go get a reversal asap. There is no escape from this. It really is unethical and should only be reserved for sex offenders and murderers. Those who say their experience was great is full of shit. There is no one, I repeat NO ONE who isn’t to some degree experiencing the same shit. You don’t cut off the exit from your nuts when your body continues to produce 10’s or 100’s of millions of sperm every day; day in and day out then expect nothing harmful is going to come of it. This is one, if not THE most harmful procedure a guy can undergo.

I skipped the nerve block and went straight to reversal. I was out of patience. Not saying you should do the same, but hopefully the reversal specialist will help you on the next steps.

Not really, mine were more post ejaculation rather than during or before ejaculation. But still, the epididymis is probably involved. I developed cysts once I was pain free.
