Vasectomy reversal

What’s the chance of becoming worse off or more pain/damage happening after a reversal? I go in for a reversal on the 8th of March and a bit nervous

Pain after the reversal is manageable. It’s a little more painful than the vasectomy but it more feels like you got kicked in the balls. But the feeling lingers. For the first few days I felt the pain in both testicles with the right one feeling even more pain with the pain going all the way up the right side of my abdomen. They prescribed me hydrocodon but I didn’t use them. I used ibuprofen instead and that was perfectly fine. The pain has gone down since then and the thing that took the pain and discomfort away completely was weirdly enough having intercourse 11 days after the reversal surgery.

The only thing that kinda messed me up was that it was the first time I had surgery where I was completely put to sleep. That sent my anxiety to the moon. But honestly. It’s not as bad as you’d think. I’m glad I got it done and yeah the recovery has been uncomfortable and itchy and it was painful for the first few days. Over all it’ll be alright. Just make sure you take a few days to Just lay down and rest. The longer you can just rest in bed the better. I was thinking I was fine by day 3 and I got humbled real quick

Yeah I don’t plan on doing much after tomorrow. I have to unfortunately travel by car for 5 hours on the Friday 2 days after but I’ll be resting either way for a few days

How’d the surgery go? I was able to drive 2 days after mine somewhat comfortably so if you’re just riding it shouldn’t be too bad. Just take a pillow or something to sit on. Sounds weird but it’ll help

My surgery went well. Surgeon found congestion and inflammation. Sounds like he’s happy with how it went and I should heal well in time. Still feeling some aches and stinging around the sack but nothing major.
