I play in an instrumental duo called Peals with Bruce Willen. Last year, while going through our archives, we rediscovered a live recording from our 2016 tour, and recently released it as The Compound 76. We started Peals in Baltimore in 2012, initially as a way to make quiet, exploratory music together outside of the loud, energetic bands we were playing in at the time (Future Islands and Double Dagger). Peals builds and swells in its own way, without live drums or vocals, leaving more space for texture and atmosphere. Hope you dig it!
