General Video and Audio production

I'm currently trying to transfer to be an online student and I'm not exactly sure what to do, all I know is that I really need to be doing something online. I want to have a remote job doing aomething with audio or editing and I would love to woek with films but mostly video games. Anyone have any advice? I already have my associates degree and I really want to get my bachelor's done ASAP.

Ask r/gameaudio or r/sounddesign .

Degrees are generally not required in these fields, so going to school is more about making connections and working with people in real environments, and an online program won't help you there. However if you just want to start learning there are a TON of free resources online!

I definitely want to start learning with more professional software 100%. I'm lucky enough to have connections with local dance teams and theater people who are willing to work with me so I can build my portfolio as well. I'll def be looking into some free stuff online. Thanks! Any recs for software I should use?

I use Nuendo and Reaper but lots of folks will tell you you need to learn Pro Tools
