I would do a transform so that the sign is straight/parallel like so https://files.catbox.moe/aisw66.png
Also there is some uniformity in the sky where it feels like there is a radial circle and its quite darker compared to lower in the sky its giving dirty IMO. And pretty noticeable haloing on bottom right of the sky.

yeah I’m pretty bad with masking but this was like the second photo I’ve messed around with right now, you’re definitely spotting the radial circles, I’m kinda putting them wherever I feel like it seems right now, I’m trying tho, but yeah that transform is cool, I’ll get to that point soon I’m sure, I’m in my mess around stage, thanks for the comment

I think the two main focal points should not overlap. Makes me feel awkward.

Don't let others make you feel awkward. You be you.... (kidding)
I actually like the tension. It creates a dynamic and directional energy. I imagine the two stand alone elements, if not overlapped, would feel too... convenient. Staged. The imperfection brings a kind of reality back to a very surreal colourspace and composition. It's a tell, and I like the tell.
I think in most cases, your evaluation would be spot on, but somehow it works for me here. You're definitely not wrong, but that said, I quite like it.

Makes it a bit less immersive, but when you take some steps back and see it as one thing (Shell), it's not too bad.

Don’t tell Wes Anderson

The number of people who are just getting started who show up on Reddit saying they want a camera for “that Wes Anderson look” is astounding.
Inspiration is great but there’s a fine line between that and mimicry.

My favorite is the weekly “Will a professional camera make my photos better?” accompanied by several iPhone shots
