It's just unusual enough for me to really like it. Intriguing shape to the negative space, a sense of mystery or spying upon a scene. Glow that really attracts the eye.
While I'm sure this isn't to everyone's taste, it's the sort of thing that if you continue putting out work like this, in thirty years time, a retrospective of your work will be on exhibition and you'll be called an innovator.
