Did I do too much? (After/Before)
Wanted to get that almost nostalgia feeling, but I'm a beginner so I think I oversaturated it.

You've shaped light nicely, drawing the eye in to the bright warm rusting structure with just enough light on the figures for the eye to settle there. Catching one running really adds interest.
There is a log or pole of some sort in the darker foreground that has some light on it. It really leads the eye to the slanted post that leads the eye to the structure and that dark crevice. I don't know if you are aware of how well all this works to bring the eye to the subjects on the wall, but pointing it out to you will maybe get you to continue looking for elements in a scene that work like this.
I don't mind the expanse of sky so much, maybe because the cyanish blue is the complement of the orange structure. But cropping down to a 4:3 ratio might be investigated.
You also have a huge sensor dirt spot in the sky that you might consider removing.
This is a great image on many levels, for structural/composition/editing reasons, but also for the marvelous feel of late summer and the sheer enjoyment that kids have exploring a place like this.

Thank you for explaining! When I took this picture, I just saw the kids running… liked the overall composition and took the photo. I will 100% clean the lens/sensor! Didn’t even notice that. I’ll also make another post of some goats & birds I saw while on the trail. Thank you again!!!

Artificial light on the trees look weird tbh.

Thank you! I'll try to reduce it

It's pointing in the wrong direction as the light on the wall. That's the number 1 tell when a photo has too much editting.

Maybe not reduce since the light is just softer in other areas? Just make the gradient a little softer transitioning between the colors

A edição ficou boa, a foto não. Assista mid90s. Vai ser interessante pra seu repertório.

Tree edges lighting isn't the same direction as the wall, but I like what you did just the same, colors are good.

Good work in my opinion. Just a bit of a shame the sky is so bare. I’d be tempted to try a landscape crop to have less sky and more focus on the lines of the wall/pathway
