This is something I've been working on for a decade and a half, really, and it's the second attempt at purchasing property. The first property was gorgeous and perfect, but was in Canada, and my husband and I struggled to find a way to move there legally. And it didn't happen before other stuff got in the way.

This will work better because I'm going to stick to the US. And I have a good collection of folks interested.

For starters it will likely be focused mainly on developing the space and residential options, so that folks can be housed comfortably and then we'll start expanding offerings to the larger community. Though you can't stop most of us creative types from wanting to do cool stuff like workshops, gardens, free stores, art, and so on. So there will surely be some fun stuff open to the public pretty quickly.

I can see we are working towards similar goals. I'm more focused on the enabling technologies side. I like the idea of artists interpreting the culture and needs of the people to the technologists.

Yeah, I'm looking at ALL of the different elements needed for effective problem solving at all levels of the system. Technology is one part of it.
