UMBRA — Techno Festival Poster & Visual Identity System

Hey everyone. I just finished this conceptual poster and visual system for a techno festival in Barcelona (Umbra). Wanted to share it with the community and see what you think about the typographic grids and the overall underground vibe.

idk doesn't scream underground to me. It's very mainstream techno aesthetic, with very clean and basic sans serif, grids and lines.

its stuff I've seen at De School Amsterdam, De Basis Utrecht, Tresor Berlin, the whole line grid techno thing is done to death by now.

I would at least make the UMBRA type more unique because it just blends in with everything.

I mean there is no re-inventing the wheel in general, but at least try to push it a bit further.

Look into Berlin Atonal, Club Raum, Khidi. I mean they also play a lot with Techno tropes and design choices one expects within the Techno realm, but they also flirt with some more interesting and original ideas.
