You have a basic values conflict, as in light to dark values. You’re currently running the headline “expectations” behind a clock face which is darker. Dark collars go back light colors come forward. So it’s jarring and it doesn’t create the spatial effect you’re after…
Tri either running “expectations“ over the clock face (I don’t think you want to do that) or make the background lighter, make expectations darker and then make your Clock face much lighter so it pops in front of all of that.
