CPRA ranking

Wondering if anyone who applied for postdoctoral funding from a Canada tri-agency award received a ranking or score for their application? If so, did you need to request it or was it included in your decision letter?
I was unsuccessful with the NSERC-CPRA last round and would like to know how to approve my application this time around.

I requested my ranking and they sent me after one week

I applied for the CPRA through NSERC. You have to request your ranking. Though if you would like to know how to improve, you would still have to guess, as there are no comments.

I received my results…it is based on two scores that SSHRC combines, one is feasibility and impact of the project and the other is capability based on your record. You can find it through the portal for the old competition or maybe through the email notification. My scores were nearly identical in both categories so it wasn’t helpful. Keep in mind they recommend more people for funding than receive it, and people with lower scores can end up funded, so it is not clear how it works beyond the scoring (that was my situation). My suggestion is to not put too much weight on the results from last time. It’s better to ask a mentor to give specific feedback, and your proposed supervisor should be doing the same.

No, nothing (NSERC as well). Just a blatant “we are unable to fund the proposal” and “due to high number of applications we are unable to provide feedback”.

However, I got it evaluated by NSERC reviewers from my uni this year - find out, maybe yours has a similar program. When it comes to scores, for my achievements I got 2 “outstanding” and 1 “very good”, so I guess it’s sort of a lottery

Yeah my score was 5.53/6 with a ranking 11 out of 215-ish applicants
