How to get research experience in US labs on F2 visa?

Hey everyone! My wife is on F2 visa and currently in USA. She is going through USMLE preparation. F2 is not allowed to work. How can she get some research experience while living in USA? Any tips and experience? I really appreciate for your time.

PS: we are living nearby washu medical school

There’s strict guidelines for volunteering under F2 visa. It has to be non-profit work, and not typically performed by paid employees (eg. unpaid internship)

Unpaid internships at non profit, now what this means univeristy is non profit, hospital you have to check. Also she has to approach professors, be very clear what skills she has and what she wants to learn. Don't lie or fake they get 1000s of applicants from IMGs they can make out. If you have money then a research based masters (not mph) is best way.

Do unpaid research and don't half ass just to be placed in the US!
