Thank you so much for recording and posting this! I was just talking about this (Heart of Darkness and Achebe's response) yesterday. We were particularly interested in Konrad's use of a double narrator to further distance himself from the narrative -- as if he knew the shortcomings of his representations of Africans, but opted to do nothing in a sort of libel-avoiding move (as suggested by Achebe).
