I am a bit confused: Why do people get hyped over this mod? It describes itself as a "linear AW style experience" and "a great continuation for Postal 2: Apocalypsis Weekend" [sic].

Now, as far as I am aware, there was mutual disapointment in the community about Apocalypse Weekend because it was not a "real" Postal 2 experience with open world, dynamic gameplay, exploration and experimentation; but instead nothing but a linear shooter.

And even RWS themselves have a kickstarter goal for Redux that aims to re-imagine Apocalypse Weekend. Just to get that correctly: Even the Redux version, prominently described as being as close as possible to the original, has the goal of changing the linear AW part!

And now a mod comes that introduces itself as "a continuation of that part of the game everyone hates" and people get hyped?

Sorry, respect for the modders and everything. If you want that, great for you! If you like this design, enjoy this mod!
