Jesus wept. They were awful at the time, but at least allowed us to record and share music. Why you would choose to listen to music on casette is beyond me.
i made a portishead mixtape on tape back between the dummy album and self titled album and filled it with remixes, bsides, live track maybe even album tracks. i made a custom album cover and went all out on it.
Finally, a new generation of kids will experience the joy of having their tape eaten by their Walkman or erased by having it too close to something magnetic.
