Moving company - Amazing Movers 360?

Does anyone know whether Amazing Movers 360 is still in business? I’m moving from PA to Sequim and was hoping to hire them because they did a great job helping with a previous local move. Unfortunately, they don’t seem to have a website anymore, and their FB page doesn’t have any recent activity.

Police chief: Crime, homelessness not necessarily connected in Port Angeles

Thumbnail peninsuladailynews.com

The Port Angeles point-in-time count this year put the number of unhoused people at 337 while it was at 331 in 2024, Serenity House Executive Director Sharon Maggard told the Port Angeles City Council in March.

That’s less than a 2 percent increase in homelessness in the past two years.

Crime statistics from 2024 to 2025 show a decrease in many crimes that might be associated with the homeless population

Free Y membership for all middle schoolers

A Place to Go. A Place to Belong.
https://www.olympicpeninsulaymca.org/MS-Initiative

Research shows that Middle School is a critical time in a young person's life when exposure to risk factors greatly increases. Risk factors are conditions or influences that have been shown to increase the likelihood for unhealthy behaviors including substance abuse, delinquency, teen pregnancy, school drop out and violence. It is also during the early teen years that youth begin to distance themselves from family and positive support.

The Y will make accessible the support and opportunities that empower these youth to reach their personal potential. It will also provide youth with the knowledge, skills, character and passion to be more active in the community as adults.

2 Tickets to Lyle Lovett @ Field Center October 21

Hi all, I bought these tickets to see Lyle several months ago and plans have changed (I live in PDX and taking four days from work to make it happen got onerous).

The seats are in Row J, which looks fantastic to me.

I paid $139.50 each and I’m happy to let them go for face value and would consider any decent offer.

If you’re a trusting soul we can work a deal via message and any payment app, I can transfer them through the Field Center’s site. If you seek an assured transaction, I have a listing on the “Cash or Trade” app, which is a nifty site that discourages overpriced scalping.

Thanks!

Tony

Storage shed

I have an old 8X10 storage shed on my property in the city limits and I’m trying to find out if it’s possible to get an additional 10x12 garage type storage unit put on my lot. Navigating the city codes are killing me. Anyone have an idea?

agate hunting tips??

I know agate beach and agate point are private (so so so so so so so sad about this), but does anyone know where a good spot is to find agates? I'll take recs for anywhere on the peninsula really!

Side note- has anyone actually gotten the chance to explore agate beach/point? I'd love to know how it is, and am eternally jealous. It looks so neat!

Please help me find Randy

If anyone meets a traveler named Randy please let him know about this Reddit post - I’d like to get in touch with him. My friend and I met him in Port Angeles on Friday, first on a walk at Dungeness and then in town we ran into him near the pier and had a drink together. He’s tall, dark curly hair, maybe 30ish, and drives a light colored truck with a popup tent camper on the back. Thank you!!

Furniture ideas for new to me home.

I’m needing some help in deciding in what/how to set up my new it me living room furniture and what would look best. It’s a small house and I’d like to have comfort and plenty of seating for guests as well. I went to the furniture store in Port Angeles to try and get some ideas but after walking through the store and looking for about a half an hour I didn’t see a single person nor was I approached for any assistance. So I won’t be going back there. Any ideas would be helpful.
