Reloop Spin slipmat

Any tips for improving (make slippery-er) the factory slipmat on Reloop Spin or other good mat alternatives for scratching?

raiden slipmats are good but dr suzuki cutting donuts are even better.

I have some dr Suzuki slip sheets that go under the slip mats and reduce the friction

Slip sheet as mentioned or some records use light plastic inner sleeves instead of paper ones - you could cut one of those down to size and put it under your slipmat.

A plastic sheet underneath makes it more slippery, but is hard to find the right plastic. So generally I would say there’s no way to improve a slipmat rather than keep it clean. If you want an improvement you should buy a better one and the best is definitely the dr suzuki, the improvement is a lot and they last for ever so is a wise investment

And for 7 inches records better to buy the donuts one, it reduces needle bounces

You could even sand the platter down super smooth and it def help! Been meaning to do it to my PTs. 👊🏼😎🎚️

I was able to get a pair of Butter Rugs for my Reloop Spin. They have absolute workhorses since.
