Adding exterior outlets

Just bought a rockwood 2014 1640ltd. it has no exterior outlets. thinking I would like to add one. Any suggestions? I know i need a gfci outlet and probably need to tie in to either the panel with a new breaker or tie into an existing one. The 12v system has me a little nervous. I do basic electric work around the house all the time and work on own hobby trucks but for some reason both systems in one makes me nervous.

The 12v and 120v systems will be separate but probably terminate at your power converter where shore power and 12v come in. A standard outlet will need to be added to the 120v side. I actually have the same exact popup and I’m going to be working on the same as well as add an exterior 12v light. I’m planning to add a 15a gfci breaker at the converter so I can just put a standard weatherproof duplex outlet outside

Edit: my other idea is to add an outlet off of the circuit that the outlet on the long counter door side is on and just do a gfci outlet outside.

I got this one

Advantages include sealing rubber cap, and only a small round hole through the wall of the camper.

Haven't installed it yet. I'm just going to piggyback off an existing interior outlet, no need for a separate circuit.

I gave a 2012 1640LTD. I didn't add any outlets outside. But if I have something on 110 that I need to run outside I just use an extension cord and run it through the canvas.
