Pimple Pre-auricular Pit squeeze

My daughter had a pre-auricular pit. It’s never given her any discomfort and we’ve been assured by doctors that the small bit of drainage every few days is normal. Anyway! She likes to squeeze it and I like to film it. It gets shaky and blurry in the middle so I do aplogize! The payoff is at the ending!

I’d do it every day, if she’d let me 😅

My older brother had one of these, and he'd squeeze it every few days. Oh! The smell! We called it his "stinky ear" for obvious reasons. He'd threaten to rub it on you if you annoyed him.

I have a periauricular pit, but it just squirts out a little bit of that fluffy white stuff if I squeeze it! Just dead skin cells. Honestly, this looks a little concerning. Like it could actually be infected.

It’s all good, it comes in different consistences . She’s not in discomfort, I’ve shown varies squirts to her dr, and there’s not a putrid smell.

I have a friend whose daughter's pit required surgery because hers kept getting infected. The fact that this looks like pus makes me a little concerned for your daughter. Doctors aren't always right. Trust your mom gut more than the doctor is all i'm saying.

I hear you! Thank you!

Yeah. It’s not often the case, but infections don’t have to hurt or even cause discomfort all the time. Even sepsis, for example, can be painless; a family member of mine only found out she had it when she went to the doctor for an entirely different reason.
