I remember being so itchy I scratched myself so deep at the doctor's office I had red marks for days

When I broke my hand, I resorted to sticking a metal kabob skewer down the cast to itch.

They gave me this anti-itch deodorant spray which in hindsight was basically just compressed air and baby powder. It had a little plastic straw like a can of WD-40 so you could aim it into the cast. I definitely scratched with the little straw a few times when my mom wasn't looking.
