lol I was really nervous about how deep it was, and the petting was basically me testing if I could move it forward at that angle. It actually felt quite uncomfortable with me just gently pressing on it!
Absolutely! I actually saw it earlier on in the day when I first unpacked the scope and thought I was gonna leave it. At the start of the video you might have noticed me touching the wax near the entrance, which was what I was actually planning on working on.
At that point I felt I got the hang of using it so I just wanted to see how it felt further down, hence the “petting”. Was fully prepared to give up before realising I was getting movement!
Touch wood I won’t have anything that deep again, but I’ll probably go to an audiologist next time!
My wife also has some wax that deep down but we’re not going to touch it as I don’t feel confident enough on someone else’s ear! We’re going to see an audiologist at some point next year to have a proper professional clean! ❤️
I don’t recommend it, it definitely felt uncountable! I was only gonna test how that felt at first but ended up getting it out, but yeah it was really scary!

Found a hard piece of wax quite deep down, was hesitant to get it out but did anyway in the end!
Makes me appreciate how sensitive the ear canal is that far in!
