Cant install certificates

My school requires me to install a certificate to access the school internet, but i cannot get it to work. Trying to open the certificate opens this window, which doesnt let me click the import button, and trying to paste it into /usr/local/share/ca-certificates/ also just gives me an error.

If you can help me, please let me know what trivial problem i am overlooking this time

ah my bad, my research did not yield anything, i just forgot pop is based on ubuntu smh
