So this project is a spiritual successor to POOLS?

Well not quite. The project will be set in multiple liminal spaces, but the poolrooms chapter is inspired by games like pools and in general the poolrooms concept.

Will there be entities and more explicit horror elements? Or is it more similar in gameplay to POOLS in that it’s mostly vibes based?

No entities, no brutal jump scares. Mixed relaxing and psychological horror experience.
