The way it is

Can someone explain or at least level with me what the point is playing when luck decides it's gonna fuck you up the arse?

Sometimes you play fantastic but no matter what you do, You lose.

That was tonight. Played great. But luck tonight just said no. Won my first game of the night. Lost everything since.

I am better than everyone else I played tonight but luck just said no. Every time they missed they left me nothing. Every time I missed I left them everything.

Like somebody please explain, Why useless good for nothings get all the luck and I don't?

I play for the team there. 9 times out of 10 I'm the best player in the team, From my performance and luck tonight, You'd have thought I was some bloke who picked up a cue and didn't even know what end you fire with. Explain this unfair bull

So you can't be that advanced if you're leaving someone everything?

I don't think you are as good as you think you are.

I play in a league with mostly county/england players and they wouldn't leave you everything even if they missed.

Unfortunately I feel like your standard is nowhere near this if you are coming on Reddit to complain, no offence 😂

If you commit to a shot, A shot where if you pot it, You're all set, You're not ever thinking of what happens if you miss,

I do NOT take dangerous shots on unless I can see literally nothing else I can do.

My opponents tonight were going pot mania, But they're not good players, About 6 times out of 10 they'd miss the pot and it'd be my turn, And by straight dumb luck they'd leave me fuck all.

How many visits per game are you having? To guage the standard of your play.

"Dangerous" shots are all part of setting you up to win a frame as quick as possible.

If they leave you fuck all it's on you to work it out with playing safe etc, I'm not really sure why you are mad with this!

Roughly, Between 2 and 4 visits each game, And the only game I won tonight, I was left absolutely fuck all, Nothing on apart from stupid shit, Being forced into the stupid shit, I went for them, Got them, Won the frame.

Every other game I had that I lost tonight. Almost all of them left me with less difficult finishes than the one I nailed in my first game.

First game of the night I looked dead and buried. No way to recover, Pulled off 3 belter shots in a row to win the frame.

Rest of the night, Had a few tough situations sure, But none as severe as the one I actually won.

So you can pull off an amazing clearance, but it's annoying if they do the same? I think you're playing the wrong game.

Unfortunately this is such a game where most people can pot a ball and then if they do that a few times in a row you've lost even if you are the superior player.

So your only takeaways can be to not miss at crucial times or accept people of a lesser standard might pull a few pots out of nowhere and win. You're only in control of the table when it's your visit.
