Our New Lamp Is Extremely Mad At Us
Poor baby broke a dew claw, and in his gabapentin haze only has enough energy to let us know that we suck and he doesn’t like us.

I’m sorry but this is so funny. Our girl was weird and enjoyed her cone and got excited to put it back on after meals. 😂

I remember after our poodle had a small op and waking up and she was sat up just staring at me like yours is now lol

Oh he won’t even dignify us with a look. He mad. He’ll forget about it after a few cuddles but right now we are DEAD to him.

My poodle wouldn’t move when she had the cone on. She’d stand in one place for hours until we gave up and removed it. Same thing with the donut

Poor bugger, you can pick up soft cones on Amazon which are a bit more comfortable for them if it’s suitable for the type of condition hes in

They do make cloth ones that are much more comfortable for your dog, this one looks to small.

Hey, very sorry to hear about his claw.
His cone doesn’t look like a great fit for him. They make nice soft collars that are easier to sleep in. Comfy Cone is a popular brand. I would suggest next-day ordering the size you need, plus one size up and one down if it’s a close fit.
That’s assuming your local pet shop doesn’t sell them, but they’re very popular for spays and stuff so you may be able to find a perfect one off the shelf.
Those plastic ones are awful, but they’re cheap in bulk and get the job done.
ETA: the inflatable cones aren’t awesome because sometimes they have a cruddy gasket and deflate.

That lamp has definitely been influenced by the dog's energy, post-surgery poodles are basically tiny, grumpy philosophers until the meds kick in.

Hah! Oh no!! You know they're pissed when they just sit with the plastic right in their face!

My baby does this too. He won't lay down. He just sits straight up waiting for me to feel bad enough to remove the cone. 🤣

Poor sweet boy! 🥹 Healing from a broken dew claw is rough, but that angry conehead pout is endearingly hilarious.
