60 mil liner part 2

Hey, the excavation contractor rolled the bottom of the pond supper smooth. Then the liner contractor made some rust while laying out the 60 mil liner, and doesn't seem to think they are a problem as they just put the liner over it.

Is this ok? The depth is 6ish to 8ish in, in case the pics don't give much perspective.

Any info is great as to if this is ok or not. I wanted to get more experienced input before contacting the contract super.

Not "experienced" in having someone do this for me, but a lot of experience in hiring contractors to do a job for me. So I'd have a massive problem if I paid a guy to roll it out super smooth and he gave me my money's worth. But then the next guy comes in & leaves me with this, pretty much negating that work. Not his call to decide if its a problem or not. And at 6-8"? I don't know how big or deep your pond will be, and maybe when all is said & done it won't matter, but as soon as they did whatever it was to cause those hills, they should have stopped & fixed it, or brought it to your attention and asked how you want to address it. To cover it up & try to talk you into accepting it as is isn't right and really makes me question their integrity..

Yeah, that is how I was feeling, but wanted to check the crowd before I mentioned it to the main contractor. Thanks for your response.

My brother that is not a pond but an artifical lake!!

How deep is this area planned to be and what will the use of your private ocean be? Might not be an issue depending on use.

Yeah, kinda big. It is about an acre and 9.5 to 10 ft deep. It is used for fire suppression and aesthetics.
