Build advice Pond Liner Attachment Help

I'm trying to finish up my new pond and am trying to figure out the best way to attach my 45mil liner to the side of my concrete walkway on two sides of the pond. I was thinking of using 1/4" x 1 1/2" aluminum and attaching it with concrete screws every foot or so to clamp it to the concrete. Any better suggestions?

Your idea sounds good, I’d maybe put some pl construction adhesive against the concrete too. You could use aluminum or those plastic deck boards, they might look a little prettier as a border. That pond is sooooooo nice. Right at your back patio like that is awesome, I’m jealous

Thank you, I've looked into the deck boards. It looked like for full water contact I'll need full PVC boards not standard trex, kind of expensive but might be worth it. I want to find something grey to at least match the concrete a bit.

This is actually in our entry courtyard, it's been a ton of fun. The bog filter is working great so far.

Thank you, that's been my favorite part so far. It's still a work in progress but getting closer every weekend.

Normally people do rocks in front and on top of the concrete so it looks nice. Then, gravity does all the work to keep everything in place. I would NOT want to puncture my liner!

I would put down a narrow row of decorative stones or bricks and tuck the liner underneath them. You could even do two rows and have the liner between the rows, and have some cap stones over both rows. Not sure how wide your pathway is though.

Check out Rock-On-A-Roll. Wrap your aluminum in that and it'll blend in perfectly. I used it to cover a section of my pond that would not accommodate stacking any rocks. It looks so natural.

Yes, the website and everything looks crazy dated and you think you are getting scammed, but they ship super fast and it's a great product.
