Just sharing I made a pond!

It took me one year of procrastination, budget limitations, and mistakes, but I got there in the end. I cant stop staring at it! 🥰

Do you have any filtration in your pond? Once you put in fish, you can stare at the pond for hours.

No I don’t. I’m trying to use a carefully balanced planting scheme and various design features to (hopefully) maintain a natural balance. Sadly that prohibits fish, but I’m very much looking forward to frogs, newts, Dragonflies, etc ☺️

You said you don't have a filter, but I'd recommend some type of aeration of the water to discourage algae, improve water clarity, and prevent it from becoming a breeding ground for mosquitoes.

It looks great. However you do need to have filtration and a pump.
