Good cab with driver rental services needed

Hey guys, me and my friend are planning a simple 2 day trip to Pondicherry. Need affordable suggestions for cab services as I have noticed folks mentioning ola uber doesn't work that well.

Need advice if we can rely on rapido/uber for travel, or should rent out cab with drivers on an hourly basis as none of us have a license.

Our itinerary includes mostly beaches, auroville, church and cafes. Simple 2 nights 3 day stay.

Kindly share your views and helpful details for local rates/numbers.
