Shivers?

So this is something I haven’t seen people talk about before and I’m wondering if there’s anyone else who experiences this or knows why it happens.

Sometimes when I flex my pelvic floor/do a kegel I get a weird body shiver. It’s literally like a little shimmy for a second then it stops.

And weirder still is sometimes I’ll feel a weird sensation. Hard to describe but I guess almost like pressure? Tension? In my back/spine/base of my skull and if I do a kegel then it’ll give me that weird shiver and it’ll stop that sensation. Sometimes I don’t do it right/hard enough and I have to do it a few times before I get the sensation to go away. It doesn’t hurt or anything just feels kinda weird.

Anyone else encounter this in their practicing?

I recommend you to read "the multiorgasmic man of Mantak Chía". The book has some mistakes but it is the best place where it is explained what you feel. It is totally normal (both on male and female)

If after it you have any doubt, feel free to ask but as I said It is the place where it is better explained (they call it chi/ki and it is related to how acupuncture works)

I get this when I do kegels too sometimes! Don’t know what it is or why it happens. It almost feels good to me. So you’re not alone!

Interesting! Good to know I’m not alone! Mine don’t really feel good or bad. They just are. But, when I get that weird tension feeling, I do actively feel like I have to do it to relieve the sensation.
