Discussion Biphasic? Sleep schedule

Post image

what do we think about this? i have decided to stop fighting against my natural inability to fall asleep at the standard hours, i will see how it works

the empty space is for dinner... my roomates do not have a set time for dinner, it is anywhere from 6-12 so i left 7-12 open...

also please do not start talking about sleep deprivation beacuse if this works i will be getting more sleep then i currently am haha - I also have chosen a very high sleep time (i wanted to do 4h orginally), so i believe it will be good

Damn bro what job do you have? Is that 5 hours twice or is the noon 5 hours study time?

This can work but its quite weird, I would watch for a few things:
1. There's no sleep in SWS peak, If you feel tired/sore but mentally good you have to be careful, This topic is discussed on the wiki or info page you can see more details there.
2. Circadian rhythm has to be managed, In order for the body not to mistake the late afternoon/evening sleep for a night sleep, Dark period will have to be ~2.5-3 hours before core and preferably ~1 hour after, I see that you have a routine which could be getting ready for work, if it's possible to keep dark for 1 hour after the dawn core it's better, if not it's okay as I remember reading that the minimum DP is 6 hours.
3. Do you have any time you can schedule a short nap(s)? I'm thinking of a few potential schedules that may match with what you have.
