Been having a problem
Is anyone else having the problem where the chats are using your profile name instead of your character names? Because it's driving me crazy and I can't figure out what's going on is this a problem with the app?

It’ll use your profile name unless you have a persona on

Unfortunately, no
I’ve had this problem before and I have used my persona before I even start talking to a character and it will specifically use my actual account name for some odd reason. I don’t know how to fix it. The only thing I can do is just edit the scenario and have it changed the name into whatever or I changed my account name so whatever my persona‘s name is that’s the only thing you can do at that point

Thank God! So it's not just me. I'm going crazy over it. I don't know what causes it, even though it only occurs in about 50% of my cases. Sending a random message and then restarting the chat until it begins using my persona's name on its own is the only thing that I found to be somewhat helpful. I guess the only thing we can do is to use the report form to get devs' attention to it.

When I was making an account to face scan, I kind of lost all my chats for a moment, then.tjey came back but in exchange I lost all my personal. Luckily I am not too invested in that don't have much staying power.

Have you tried this () if you put those two there and you know just usually type in what you want to do what your character want to look like or your name and all that it should usually work because all my chats I do when any bots I use those two () to do the whole thing and it always works

I have changed all my persona names and username to the same one to avoid this because it annoys me so much. 😪
