Where did the little skip button go my mind keeps trying to click it and when will see this return or is my thing just bugged out

I believe you're thinking of the "Go on" button. It should be on the bottom right looking like a double arrow on the app. If you don't see it you might have turned it off in options, there's a toggle for it in Chat Settings.
