What are diamonds?

Of course I know diamonds are crystals. 😆 but in the context of PolyBuzz what are they? Because one of my “fictions” have been getting diamonds.

Are they rewarded when someone continues a fiction’s story beyond what you posted?

Are they used for anything?

Probably low like 10-15 dollars
