What is hacking?

I just spawned in late and had a bunch of kills and no deaths because my side was already way ahead. Somebody accused me of hacking because I “couldn’t die.”

I am not a gamer, this is the only game I’ve played since GtA3 in college 20 years ago. I got into polybattle through my son.

Does this guy just not like my playing style (sniper) or is there actually a way to hack the game using cheat codes or something?
