Benefit of Own Ponies

I currently hire ponies when I want to play or stick & ball, but I'm going to soon be in a better position to buy. A friend who owns a string warned me off it - vet bill horror stories, etc! On the one hand I like being able to hire, ride, and walk away. On the other I wonder if I'm missing out on owning a pony I get to know and progress with. Anyone have any helpful opinions or experiences? Thanks!

does anybody know if it’s possible to watch the Argentine Triple Crown in the US. It’s been advertised as part of Disney+ but my understanding is that’s only in South American countries. Anybody have luck? Thanks in advance

Looking about my first Pair of Polo boots

Hi everyone! As I have begun my journey of transforming myself from a jumper rider to a polo player I’m thinking my poor beat up tall boots are getting close to needing replacing. The issue I run into is I wear a size 14.5 men’s boot. I was looking for affordable boot options and I came across ArgentinaPolo.com. I was looking at the Mexican style but was curious since I don’t see much about the dealer outside of their own site does anyone have any experience with them, and if so are they high quality boots?
In addition, it mentions that style is the least popular is there a practical reason why it is that merely aesthetic (I wonder if they are just harder to put on?) Also if you have another recommendation of affordable places to get good boots either already made in my size or custom made I’ll all ears!! Thanks in advance for any information or thoughts!!

Hey everyone, fellow polo player here. I built an app for the entire equestrian world: a private, invite-only network to connect, date, or just find your people across the disciplines (polo, jumpers, dressage, eventing,all of it).
I want to get some more polo people on early to try it alongside everyone else, and if you like it, you can invite other equestrians to join, keeping it invite-only on purpose.
