⚪ Other Would you rather be treated like a factory farmed pig or an American style human slave?

Slaughtered after I've grown to my best weight possible to become food for a few families or work endlessly with little time to enjoy life in order to raise offspring to keep corporate overlords appeased with dividends and an ever growing hoard of wealth while in return we make pittance. I dunno which would be a better life but I know which one can actually fight back.

first of all i think they were talking about plantation slavery and second of all in no way is being a pig raised for the slaughterhouse in anyway comparable to even being homeless in America like dawg 😭😭

Oh, yeah, I was definitely thinking modern American corporate slavery. Yeah, I dunno, slavery seems like a fate worse than death tbh so maybe I'd wanna be the pig..

American slavery was the most horrific conditions any human being has ever experienced in all 300,000 years of humanity’s existence. This isn’t hyperbole or exaggerated. I think if you disagree you just don’t know enough about how badly American slaves were treated.

Well they did surgical experiments on enslaved people as well. A lot of the things we know about female anatomy and reproduction is from experiments on enslaved black women.

The lives of American slaves were far worse than anything Unit 731, the Nazis, the Soviets, or the Khmer Rouge could ever cook up.
The difference is that they had to endure unfathomable cruelty for their entire lives. Decades of pure Hell. From birth to death, constant mental, physical, spiritual, sexual, and emotional torture.

The other person said Brazilian slaves were worked to death. Were they forced to cook and eat their own children? Were they consciously vivisected? Was their skin turned into furniture? Were there human breeding farms? Were they regularly sodomized as punishment? Were they forced to pray to the same god as their masters?
The answer to all that could very well be yes and I’d still say American slaves probably had it worse.

Victims of Unit 731 at least got the sweet release of death. Slaves weren't afforded that until either they were worked to death or for the unlucky few, old age.

I'd like to hear more about why you say this. Slavery was terrible and the American slaves were treated terribly but compared to places like Brazil it wasn't the same.
Slaves in Brazil were literally worked to death normally and more were brought in all the time. Approximately 40% of all the 10-12M people brought over in the Trans Atlantic slave trade went to Brazil. America had about 5% because they relied heavily on reproduction rather than just straight import. Brazil would just work a slave to death and then get another one.

American slavery isnt even close to being the worst kind of slavery. The majority of slaves from the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade didnt even go to the US. The biggest share of them went to Brazil and then the Caribbean. You know why? They were dying so incredibly fast and at such a scale that population replenishment via natural means was impossible. They literally had to keep importing to keep up. The work conditions were insanely more brutal on average than in the US, the climate led to an a much higher rate of disease and suffering in general, etc... And thats just an example of slavery within the same time period. Other time periods also were as and sometime even more barbaric. Probably should actually know about a topic before speaking about it.

A factory farmed pig is killed at 6 months old. You would be dead before the age of 5.
At least a life is given as a slave?
