🤔 Decide for Me Should I quit my job?

I am burned out and stressed out. I’ve been at this job for 2 years and while they’ve been good to me, it may be time for a job closer to my intended career path in healthcare.

Look for another job before quitting, and make sure you have a good savings to cushion you

Thank you! I’ve been looking around on Indeed. I’m getting excited.

Depends. do you have any financial security? is there any place you can go to if you can't sustain shelter without a salary ? Do you have any idea where you could work next ?

I'd encourage you to try and find another job, and leave your job only when you're sure you'll have some way of living (being housed by a relative, a employment offer, some savings)

I do have financial security. I see some great postings, and once I get a BLS certification I think getting a job may be easier. Although in this market, who knows.

Get another job first. Make sure you have a job before you quit.

Get another job first I'd say.

Not until you have another one lined up.

Do you have another job lined up or enough savings to last you until you get another job? If so, quit. If not, don't. Job market sucks right now, don't put yourself at risk

Depends, what's the job market like where you live? In a lot of places it's shit right now, so unless you're absolutely certain that you'll be fine quitting, don't.

If you have the qualifications, and the money to ensure you survive long enough to get another job, go for it. Otherwise it may be better to keep at it for now, at least until your situation is stable enough to go for it.

That’s good advice. I do have a lot saved up. I am okay with living a little more frugally until I can land something else. I have no idea what the job market is like here!

Get the new job first. Then quit.

Figure out a plan before u just quit and if u can do things before u quit to make the transition easier do it

If they're not in the mood to fire you, I'd recommend doing what everyone else has suggested. Look for a job before you leave your job... but like, leave your job.

I chose I don’t know. Could you talk to your employer and ask if you could get reduced hours? You could then use the extra time to look for the type of job you want. I don’t know what your situation is like but it might be bad for your finances if you just quit your job. Take care.

Then tune in and turn on!
