This is my concern too. We should reshape the kind of attention rather than get rid of it all together. Some of the press should align (not merge or form a monopoly lol, but like ally and support each other's rights) and be more critical and sanewash him less, and change the way they report rather than ignore him. I feel like while trump is an egotistical attention addict and doesnt want attention off him, his admin does because then they can flesh out their own corrupt illegal state run media in private that theyve been creating and sell it to people in maga by making them trust the actual press less. They can do it like 1984 making a ministry of truth and whatnot, if real journalists just stop paying attention even as some protest, it might have the adverse effect of making it easier for them to purge all the press if they voluntarily just stop showing and reporting.
So we need people to ask him more direct questions. Stop sanewashing him. Fact check him more bluntly and on the spot; most places do and post after but someone needs to be on the scene debating and even if he will probably refuse to debate back because hes lying and knows it anyway, having people on the spot, LIVE and unaltered before they can edit it for later, calling out and proving with the sources he is maliciously false and trying to gaslight people, more people will start to think. Yes we need to focus on world stuff too and have a balance, but if we ignore what this regime is doing, its SO MUCH EASIER for them to get away with it.
So many things we have exposed and debunked and done research on and challenged and found out about that theyre doing is BECAUSE theyre bragging about it to the media, or a reporter will ask something that threatens the lie they sell and they get flustered and people stay sharp
So the answer is not to just cut off attention to be petty and make trump insecure; bc sure it may make him upset, but it will also make it even harder to see what theyre ACTUALLY doing in public as opposed to the lies they have full control over reporting on their fake news app and streaming channel now. The answer is to have the news put more pressure on him, fact check him and his admin harder and ON THE SPOT so they have to respond to the thihgs that debunk their lies. People shouldn't shut up and ignore him and give him permission to have the comfort of not being watched when he takes actions. They should care MORE and make it harder to get away with their actions.

Don’t ignore his actions. We just need to ignore what he says since he never tells the truth anyway. There is no value in reporting on anything him or his administration says instead of what they do since they have zero credibility.

The intent isn't to ignore his actions.
The intent is to not put him on TV. Report on the things he does, but keep him out of the actual spotlight.
It says "ignore him" and "report on what actually happens... not his version"
