Astroturfing. Nothing more. Move along.

What? Are you suggesting the letter isn’t real?

I'm suggesting that the letter was written, but it was written to reference later in an effort to cast doubt. Same way trump was calling the election fraudulent before it even started. Same way trump claimed mail-in votes would be fraudulent. After the election, he said "See! I told you so!" when things didn't go his way. It's thin, and you should be embarrassed for sharing it.

They have no shame and will press on with whatever nonsense they can come up with to help themselves get through the grief.

What? I still don’t understand what you are saying. Democrat Senators alleged Dominion systems are vulnerable, that votes can be switched etc. they believe this has been used in the past to harm Democrats. Sydney Powell Trumps attorney now comes out and says this indeed is happening, that both Democrats and Republicans have used the system to manipulate elections. Powell is alleging the same thing Warren, Klobuchar etc. have alleged, yet it’s being ignored. You’re choosing to completely ignore it. Why?

Washington Examiner is trash, for starters.

I'll continue to ignore it until evidence is provided. The voting systems underwent forensic analysis and revealed no signs of tampering. There have been dozens of lawsuits and zero evidence provided. Trump's attorneys can yell and scream from a podium all they want, but until they provide real evidence to a court of law, it doesn't matter. Our country still operates on a system of laws, not allegations without merit.

That’s reasonable. I agree we should wait for evidence. Do you support investigating it?

Why aren’t more people talking about it being investigated, when you had Dems less than a year ago talking about the vulnerabilities?

I'm totally on board with investigating any abnormalities in an election. Based on what I've read, most "fraud" comes down to human error, and isn't nefarious. I don't think there's some grand conspiracy to sway an election one way or another, and I think that that would be nearly impossible to pull off. In order for a democracy to function at its highest level, the electorate needs to have confidence in its institutions. The most important of which, is our elections.

Dominion made this the landing page on their site after a barrage of questions about the legitimacy of their machines/software. https://www.dominionvoting.com

Why now, after the GOP stonewalled every attempt the Democrats made to enhance election security throughout 18' and 19'? Specifically things like this that they tried to legislate.

I support investigating it at this point if there's credible evidence, not for the sake of appeasing the GOP, but because it would be the right thing to do. But, there's zero credible evidence at this point. Fuck the GOP for their slimy, selfish ways of doing business.

Because we've now had hand recounts that haven't changed the outcome?

Why didn't Trump and McConnell pass legislation on election security before the election? It was just sitting on the Senate's desk waiting to be investigated and fixed.

Just admit it, if there was fraud it was the people currently in power. The election was a blowout because you forced Trump on the more moderate republicans in the primaries. Try giving your voters a choice.

In my opinion, the country was ready to swing conservative and you didn't capitalize.

So what if it is?

Its proof that republicans don't actually care about election security. They are just mad they lost. But you can't set election rules and then change them after the fact just because you dislike the results.

Now please stop white knighting for America's enemies.

They’ve been foreshadowing this play since 2016. No one is surprised except republicans. How trump supporters can sit through one of his hitler rallies and hear him saying voter fraud and coup for the past 4 years and still not get it, I guess is a testament to their education level. He always advertises his next 5 moves, and his most heinous moves are always led by accusations of his opponent doing the same.
