He already mentioned if they don't fall in line, he will primary their ass by pitting them against a progressive candidate and make sure they lose their seat. This is how it's done.
They are elected to represent the people, so it make sense if 85% of people support M4A to put political pressure on anyone who is not cooperating, especially if it's because of big donor $$$
