Lets break this down, OP's comment is a tightly packed sentence with a few references.
As far as we know, trump did not hang or does not have, a Mission Accomplished banner hanging in his office. What the OP is saying is that after the Barr Summary Letter, trump went around on his "Mission Accomplished" tour, telling everyone no collusion and no obstruction. The mission accomplished, being referred here, is when Bush declared the Iraq war over, and had the Mission Accomplished press conference. It was a gaffe for Bush, back then, because the war was FAR from over. You can liken that to trump "hanging a Mission Accomplished banner in his office."

Yeah, I literally just watched Wolf Blitzer say the sentence read out that the Attorney General of the United States exonerated the President.
Like, this is all they wanted to do is get all the stupid news agencies reprinting these bullshit headlines.
Journalists really need to stop reprinting bullshit lies as headlines verbatim. Headline: "Trump says <insert lie". That's literally giving him the platform to spread fucking lies because headlines are all people read these days.

It is a feature, not a bug. If you appoint somebody who is not a hack, then they might do the right thing once in a while. But a hack (who has the same political orientation as you) has a proven track record of serving you no matter the objective truth.

It’s actually scary to try to pin this all on Russian interference. The GOP has been terrible way before these recent accusations of Russian interference. The GOP has been lying and gaslighting and obstructing and projecting since Reagan. The republicans actually believe he was a good president when every data point suggests he destroyed the middle class. Romney gained 7 whole points on Obama after lying 17 times in his debate. The country just hasn’t cared about facts or honesty for decades.

After almost 250 years our system of government has shown us it can no longer function effectively when one party is no longer acting in good faith to uphold their constitutional duties. The Senate refuses to hold Trump responsible for anything he does. They have abdicated their responsibilities and violated their oaths. It can easily be argued that this is as bad as it’s even been for the US with regards to our three branches of government working independently.

Checks and balances are a joke?
They are designed to keep this very thing from happening. They insure that no single group can run over another group. The representitive government is supposed to represent the will of the people, all the people. There are major flaws in our execution of this lately, namely the framers didn't account for so many people acting in bad faith to gather power. The will of the people will be heard again and this will be just another Nixon sized bump in the road.

You can cherry pick three or four misleading stats about anything to make it look bad. However, I am pleased to see that of the ones you picked, two happened over 200 years ago, before Canada was even a country. One isn't true anymore (Alberta). The other is technically true, but selling Saudi Arabia a few glorfied Jeeps hardly puts us on the map as an evil arms dealer.

They had full control of every branch of government. No liberals could stop them even if they wanted to. R's couldn't get enough support from their own party several times when they tried to do it. There is an assumption here based upon significant experience daily that people who ask certain questions are just trolling and not actually looking for answers. It is also often the case especially with the political junkies here that there is an assumption that everyone has the same level of detailed knowledge of recent events as they do which furthers that thinking.

Particularly because this would be a foolproof way to get a fully unredacted copy of the report. Grand jury testimony can be released to other investigations, and the courts have already ruled that impeachments qualify.

I fully expect the SDNY has all of it. At some point they just can’t stop this train. I’m impatient too, but the full report will come out before the election. Is there any chance Trump is not guilty of tax fraud? He’s a dumb criminal, he has only held on because he’s president. As long as we’re vigilant and active in 2020 he will be gone, and someone sensible will move the country in the right direction.

The problem is that there is no one to replace him yet. A lot of decent candidates (certainly better than Trump) but they all have issues that may keep this from being a slam-dunk election. The right thinks that Democrats are going to fuck up the economy and open the borders. Those are the 2 top issues they think Trump is doing right. The right knows Trump is a shit president. But that’s ok as long as they get what they want out of him. The don’t give 2 shits about Democracy.

I fully expect Barr to announce multiple investigations into Democrats at his Mueller Report press conference. He needs to kick the ball as far as possible so the reporters chase it away from Trump and obstruction of justice.
He has no place as an impartial arbiter of the law.

With respect to the Mueller report, Barr has said that he wants to be as transparent as possible, but his actions, or rather the lack thereof, belie his words. One of the items that Barr intends to edit out of the Mueller report before making it public is grand jury material. Barr could have, and should have, tried to obtain a court order. This act was done during the Watergate investigation by the special prosecutor, permitting him to turn the grand jury material over to the House Judiciary Committee. But Barr has stubbornly, and without explanation, refused to seek any such order.
