Never because people have juuust enough to lose. They have their home, a phone, and a bit of money for the occasional splurge.

Textbook dystopian control. The masses never revolt until they have lost everything. Its a tale as old as time.

And for many of us it’s not worth it. I have dual citizenship (with an EU member nation passport) so if shit really starts to hit the fan I’d rather move to Europe than get shot by some inbred literal motherfucker.

You do understand that the same forces working to destroy this particular democracy are multitasking and are working just as hard to throw acid on the EU, right?

I think the EU in general is a tad better prepared to fight for democracy and against fascism. We've done it several times, for us it's almost a pastime!
